A-CODE

CONTRIBUTE

A-CODE, IS THE REFERENCE PROGRAM FOR THE PROTECTION OF CHILDREN AND ADOLESCENTS AGAINST VIOLENCE IN THE CANARY ISLANDS.

A-CODE is a pioneering initiative developed and coordinated by the STAR-UP CORAZÓN SOLIDARIO association, a non-profit organisation specialising in the development of initiatives in favour of children and adolescents at risk.

The A-CODE programme has made the Canary Islands the first Autonomous Community to have a programme that complies with the Action Plan against the sexual exploitation of children and adolescents of the protection system and with the implementation of Organic Law 8/2021 (Integral Law for the Protection of Children and Adolescents against Violence (LOPIVI), approved in June 2021, which has introduced numerous changes that have led to progress in favour of better protection of children and adolescents against violence.

A-CODE has different projects that are developed in parallel, aimed at children, adolescents, society and professional groups whose activity requires them to be in regular contact with minors.
